Cryostat service

Sometimes, the paraffin embedding process supposes the degradation of some antigens. For those cases, the histology unit provides a cryostat service.  The tissues must be frozen and finally they can be sectioned with a range from 0.5 µm -100 µm of thickness. 

The Unit Offers:

• Cryostat sectioning
• Mounting of tissue sections on microscope slides
• Histological staining
