Cell culture

Developed by: Instituto Aragonés Ciencias de la Salud

Description

It provides the infrastructure, knowledge and technical support in cell cultures and genetic modifications to the research community that requires it.

We support both the training and advice of researchers who have their own facilities to continue their cultivation work, as well as those who wish to carry out all the cultivation work in our facilities at CIBA. Likewise, when our availability of personnel allows it, we fully carry out all the cell culture work required in the project.

From this Unit, we offer three types of services:

  • The researcher has cell culture facilities but lacks the technical knowledge: Training and advice in cell culture techniques. Once the training is finished, the researcher performs the cultures at his facilities.
  • The researcher does not have cell culture facilities and lacks the technical knowledge: Training and advice in cell culture techniques. Once the training is finished, the researcher performs the cultures at the UCC facilities.
  • The researcher does not have cell culture facilities, lacks the technical knowledge and does not have the personnel to carry out cell cultures: Training and advice on cell culture techniques. Once the training is finished, the UCC staff performs the cultures in our facilities.
