Summary

Proteomics provides a set of very powerful tools for identifying functional proteins. The application of proteomics has enormous potential in the area of biomedicine and development of drugs (anticancer, for the nervous system, cardiovascular system, antibiotics, etc.) diagnostics, vaccine development, etc.
