Description
The invention is a method for assessing the degree of cardiovascular risk. First, a classification of the risk level according to the “Task Force Chart Criteria” based on the joint evaluation of the classic cardiovascular risk factors. Secondly, the innovative procedure takes into account the possible influence of homocysteine levels, intra-granulocyte concentration of HSPA1A protein and HSPA1A gene polymorphisms, allowing the reclassification of the risk group.
