Applications |
Diagnosis and prognosis of chronic kidney disease and risk of cardiovascular events in these patients determined by measuring concentrations of at least one of the following in an isolated sample obtained from a patient: 5-oxoproline, glutamate, guanidinoacetate, alpha-phenylacetylglutamine, taurine, trimethylamine N-oxide (TMNO), homocysteine, leucine, threonine, and citrate; additionally, the result will be assessed by comparing the values from these measurements against those of a reference group of healthy subjects. |
