MANGOOSE, Advanced Reconstruction of Computer Tomography Image (CT) for Small Animal

MANGOOSE is a high-performance software package for the reconstruction of data from micro-CT scanners.
Through a novel implementation of an FDK algorithm, it achieves a faster reconstruction of the data (less than 4 seconds for a volume of 512x512x512 in GPU).
Besides speed, MANGOOSE incorporates other features aimed at obtaining a final image of higher quality:

- “Beam hardening” correction
- Correction of rings
- Smoothing-filter bank
- High flexibility, which allows its adaptation to different configurations allowing an easy and intuitive use, derived from the automation of the whole reconstruction process which minimizes the user-programme interaction.

On the other hand, it offers a service of technical support, maintenance and update of the software.
