The Contract Research of IIS La Fe (CRUNIT) offers companies an integral, customized and professional service that includes design, development and coordination of biomedical projects. These range from R&D services to pre-clinical and clinical research in compliance with regulatory requirements, understanding the customer´s needs.


CRUNIT’s challenge is to satisfy customer needs providing added value by means of an integral management of their biotechnological and biomedical projects:

à Collaborating in design, development and clinical validation of diagnostic tools and medical devices

à Supporting drug development processes and health claims, with focus on Phase I - Phase IV clinical research studies, including an inpatient Phase 1 facility and outpatient specialized research centres.


CRUNIT acts as a centralized point-of-contact to assist customer needs, and manages projects efficiently through the IIS La Fe Research groups, Platforms, Units and Services necessary for their development, providing:

  • tailored solutions at each stage of the health development process, adapting services to any company (small biotech start-ups, international pharmaceutical companies, etc.) to increase project success.
